Hey there, I'm Jade from Theodore Soap Co. Let me tell you our story.

Our company was born from a simple desire: to embrace a life closer to the natural world and offer products that truly reflect that philosophy. Tucked away in a cozy village in Austria, Theodore Soap Co. is a small, family-run operation where we’ve turned our shared dreams into reality, all while creating more time to nurture our life as a family.

We live for the outdoors; it is truly in our blood. Whether we are making memories in our camper van, chasing sunsets, wandering through endless forests, or enjoying quiet afternoons in the garden, these are the moments that inspire our products. They are straightforward, kind to the earth, and full of that same honest vibe we cherish.

After 15 years in the beauty industry, I realized I craved something more meaningful. I became acutely aware of the products I used and their environmental impact. I wanted to create soaps that would simply return to nature. While this is a complex aspiration, it laid the foundation for Theodore Soap Co. I eventually left the corporate world and dove into a gardening apprenticeship to reconnect with plants and find my own rhythm while working on this dream in the background.

My partner, Michael, started his own journey into natural living about 25 years ago. He discovered a deeper connection with nature and a greater understanding of his body's needs, transitioning away from heavily scented commercial products to natural bar soaps. Over the years, he became deeply mindful of ingredients, developing a respect for what we put on our skin and how it all ties into the world around us.

With his encouragement, and the arrival of our son we finally took the plunge and launched Theodore Soap Co. It is so much more than just a business to us; it is our way of living our values while giving us the space to be fully present as a family.
