To make your soap bar last longer, let it dry fully between uses by resting it on a draining soap dish so it’s never sitting in water. Keep it out of the direct stream of running water when you’re not using it, as constant splashing will wear it down faster. You can also cut the bar into halves and use one piece at a time for easier handling and slower use. Any spare bars should be stored in a cool, dry place with a bit of airflow, such as a cupboard or drawer.

All of our soaps are cruelty free and made without any animal testing. The majority of our range is also vegan, with one exception: our Propolis bar, which contains bee-derived ingredients and is therefore not classified as vegan. If you’re looking for a vegan option, you can safely choose any of our other soaps.

Choosing the right soap is very personal and depends on your skin, preferences and routine. Because of cosmetic regulations, I’m not allowed to recommend specific bars for particular skin conditions, (even with 15 years skincare experiencce.) However a quick internet search for your skin type and commonly suggested ingredients is a great starting point, then you can match those findings to the descriptions in our range. We’ve tried to include something for everyone, so you can pick what feels right for you.

Yes, our peshtemals are designed to be both eco‑friendly and sustainable. All of them are OEKO‑TEX Standard 100 certified, which means they’re independently tested and verified to be free from harmful substances. They’re woven from long‑lasting, natural fibres, wash and dry using less water and energy than traditional towels, and are made to be used and loved for years rather than seasons.

To care for your peshtemal, simply machine wash it at a low to medium temperature with similar colours (Don't forget a cold soak before the first wash!) and avoid fabric softener, which can reduce absorbency. Line dry or tumble dry on a low setting, and skip bleach or harsh detergents to protect the fibres and colours. Your peshtemal will get softer and more absorbent with each wash, so you can enjoy it for years.
